My client is a small but dynamic company and is looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Administrator to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and adaptable, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is willing to step in wherever needed, to support our operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Order Processing:

  • Accurately process and manage customer orders.

  • Maintain and update order records.

  • Communicate with customers to confirm order details and provide updates.

 

Inventory Management:

  • Barcode and manage stock levels.

  • Assist in inventory audits and stocktaking activities.

  • Coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishments.

 

Document Handling:

  • Scan, file, and organise documents efficiently.

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping.

 

Customer Service:

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner.

  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

 

Team Support:

  • Liaise with engineers to coordinate schedules and project updates.

  • Provide administrative support to the engineering team as needed.

  • Work closely with the Managing Director (MD) to support daily operations.

 

General Office Duties:

  • Manage office supplies and ensure the office is well-maintained.

  • Assist in organising company events and meetings.

  • Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to take on varied tasks.
