​I have a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or AAT studier looking to grow and progress both experience and exposure to Management Accounting. Due to ongoing growth of their business my client, the largest agricultural machinery supplier in the South West, are currently looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to support their Finance and Admin Manager within a busy administration team. The role will be based at their Launceston office with occasional travel to their other sites.

Although AAT or part CIMA/ACCA qualified would be an advantage this opportunity would be ideally suited to somebody who is happy to initially work within a support role and gain qualifications as experience grows. The role is full time permanent paying £25,000 to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Management accounting and monthly KPI reporting.

  • Purchase and sales ledgers oversight.

  • Management of daily banking and reconciliation.

  • Cash flow forecasting,HR admin and payroll.

  • Compliance oversight and VAT activity.

  • Assisting with month end accounts and internal auditing.

  • Other ad hoc duties within the Admin team. 

Key Experience

  • Previous experience in a comparable role would be an advantage.

  • A great team player able to work under pressure.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficient user of Microsoft packages especially Excel.

  • Able to work to strict regular deadlines.
