My client, a growing organisation within the food processing industry, is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in electrical systems. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the maintenance operations of the facility, whilst developing your own skills within the role.
Responsibilities
Utilise mechanical knowledge to maintain and repair machinery
Interpret and follow schematics and logic controllers for troubleshooting
Conduct electrical repairs and installations
Supervise contractors as and when required
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests
Demonstrate leadership skills in coordinating maintenance activities
Experience
Required:
Ability to maintain equipment and facilities efficiently
Strong supervisory skills
Nice-to-have:
Previous experience in maintaining Multivac Lines
Previous experience in a maintenance role
Familiarity with logic controllers and schematics
With a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, the successful candidate will work full-time, with occasional weekends to support business needed.
