We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced PA to join a prestigious family business based in the Tregony area.
Seeking an experienced candidate with previous experience of having worked at PA/EA level with responsibilities spanning secretarial support across a wide range of business and charity interests as well as personal matters. You will need to be able to prioritise in a busy environment and remain calm under pressure in challenging situations.
The business is one of a traditional estate with tenanted properties, various building/development projects, shooting, farming, holiday and visitor businesses as well as weddings. Alongside the range of directorships, the business owners are also secretary’s and members of a range of charity and community projects and organisations so you will be required to carry out a number of administrative tasks on their behalf in this regard.
The main responsibilities of the PA role are as follows:
- Management of Outlook email, calendar.
- Typing up handwritten notes / taking dictation and processing personal as well as business correspondence. Typing and formatting reports, articles etc. (Using Microsoft Office).
- Assisting with any personal matters such as booking travel, personal appointments, paying bills etc.
- Keeping on top online blog/website content (WordPress)
- Support with organising social engagements, parties, events etc. Invitations, guest lists etc.
- Point of liaison for insurance issues across the business
- Taking minutes at various confidential meetings
- Maintaining a paper-based filing system / archive
Seeking candidates who are both loyal and confidential. You will need to be countryside-minded with a love of animals and country pursuits and diplomatic in your output.
The role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis 39hrs per week, Monday to Friday but overtime and flexibility to hours will be necessary at times. This role is office based with no work from home option
Salary by negotiation and dependent on experience.
Private accommodation would be available if required. Due to location own reliable transport is a necessity.
