Seeking a motivated and experienced Quality Engineer/Manager for a new role in Falmouth. The successful candidate will join the Quality Manufacturing Engineering team to assist with quality issues across all products and components.
Applicants must have previous experience working as a Quality Manager within the production and manufacturing sector.
An excellent opportunity to join a successful, expanding business on a permanent, full-time basis (37.5 hour week).
Key duties & responsibilities:
Manage the Quality team to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure that Quality management systems are continually reviewed, maintained, and updated.
Work with R&D on New Product Introduction, with quality in mind.
Produce documentation to support manufacturing quality.
Visit off shore manufacturing facilities as required (some travel essential).
Lead product and component quality initiatives.
Liaise with Customer support on product failures and research trends
Liaise and visit suppliers as necessary on quality
Essential experience & qualifications:
Degree or HND in Manufacturing, Electronics or relevant discipline (essential)
Quality and process engineering experience (desirable)
Data analysis skills.
Logical thinker with strong communication and team skills.
Great time management skills.
