An exciting opportunity has become available to join a busy manufacturing team in Redruth in the role of Trainee Cutter / Trainee Machinist.
The role will see the chosen candidate working within a busy team. you will receive on the job training, although previous experience within a similar role would be desirable.
You will ideally have some interest of the textile industry and be looking for a new challenge.
After 12 successful weeks you will be offered a permanent contract which will offer two wellness days, also after 5 years your holiday allowance will increase to 32 days!

Key Responsibilities:
Following different patterns to cut and clip to specified measurements.
Sewing bespoke garments including reinforcements and fastenings
Check products to specifications
Sew alterations as required
Log work on manufacturing software
Skills and Experience:
Experience is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided to the right candidate
Must be thorough and precise
Have a high attention to detail
Ability to work well with your hands
Numerically competent and computer literate
Ability to work to own initiative as well as part of a team
Working hours:
39 hours per week, 07:30 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday, 07:00 – 12:00 on a Friday
Salary: From £11.44 per hour.
