What do Payroll Professionals do?
Payroll professionals play a critical role in maintaining an organisation's financial and operational stability. Here are some of the key responsibilities and tasks that payroll professionals typically handle:

A payroll professional should have a solid understanding of how payroll software works, and an ability to use different applications. Reporting: a Payroll professional will be required to report payroll information to various stakeholders, including management, HR, HMRC, Pension providers and auditors. A payroll professional will make sure that these reports are timely and accurate.

Accreditation

The Membership with the CIPP will guide a payroll professional through their payroll career offering qualifications and resources, as well as a community to offer support and advice.
