My client, based near Falmouth, is involved in the design and supply of offshore equipment, used in the development and construction of renewable projects with a focus on efficiency and cost reduction. This role is new to the business, with the goal of supporting continued growth across design and engineering projects.

What are they looking for?
MSc or BSc level qualification in a technical/design/engineering related discipline.
Relevant experience in the development of offshore, or heavy plant/industrial machinery equipment.
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Solidworks, Ansys and STAA, as well as MS Office suite.
Experience working withing an offshore environment would be advantageous, as well as developing renewable technologies.
Chartered Engineering status, alongside several years experience within a relevant engineering industry.

Liaise with external project stakeholders and internal resources to meet targets and budget.
Create detailed designs, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards are upheld.
Verifying and analysing designs, producing relevant documentation.
Provide technical support with workshop, procurement, and operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Contribute to commercial activities, preparing resource estimates, and adding valuable tender input.
