We have a fantastic new vacancy for a driven and experienced Electrical Assembly engineer to join a purpose-built factory.
A trained Electrical Installation Engineer, Heavy Vehicle Electrician or Agricultural Engineer would be well-suited to this role as there are many similarities.
An electrical background is required for this position due to the nature of the work, however, there will be in-house training on how to assemble specific products.
What are they looking for?
Qualifications in electrical fields (required).
18th Edition electrical wiring qualification (required).
Qualifications in mechanical fields (desirable).
Professional understanding of electrical circuitry and standards.
Willingness to learn about hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
Good communication and people skills including a positive attitude and outlook.
Internal drive to always improve and make tasks more efficient.
What will the role involve?
Installation of electrical circuits used in various handling products.
Assemble lifting equipment according to engineering drawings and procedures.
Install hydraulic and pneumatic circuits (training provided).
Checking other staff member’s electrical work to ensure compliance.

Salary of circa £33,280/£16 per hour (30-40 hours per week + overtime available)
