Field Sales Agent - To cover East Cornwall (Devon/Top Of Cornwall)

Job Title:Field Sales Agent

Salary:£27,000 plus £4000 car allowance per annum, and OTE commission of £12,000 per year (to be discussed further at interview)GREAT CAREER PROGRESSION

Location:Office and travel across Cornwall & Devon.

Role Purpose:The primary purpose of the Field Sales Door to Door Agent is to secure the company’s growth through selling internet service and associated products to individuals, Micro SME businesses, and Communities.

Main Responsibilities:The Field Sales Door to Door Agent is responsible for contributing to the wider teams objectives and delivering their individual sales target, this will include upselling to higher sales packages, selling value added sales and being the face for the brand.

Key Activities:

While duties and responsibilities will vary, they typically include:

  • A solid background in sales, ideally door to door from either a telecoms or utilities company however all relevant sales experience will be considered.

  • You will be comfortable interacting with our potential customers in a field sales focused role, able to adapt your approach to ensure a high level of sales conversion.

  • You will be confident in handling objections and be tenacious.

  • You will be driven and ambitious, striving to exceed your targets and goals.

  • You will be confident in using new sales systems and other tools such as Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale.

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.

  • Manage your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.

  • Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.

Essential Person Specification

Knowledge:

  • MS office & CRM knowledge

  • Internet & social networking understanding

  • Knowledge of door to door selling

  • Understanding of the importance of delivering exceptional customer service

  • IT knowledge (desirable)

Skills/Attributes:

  • Strong sales experience & be passionate about sales, with a desire to exceed all sales targets

Qualifications:

  • Driving license essential

  • Good level of education

Circumstances:

  • This role will involve travelling throughout Cornwall or Devon where required

  • Performance against profitable revenue targets,

  • Interaction with all types of customers

  • Professional dress code applies

  • Working pattern from 11am to 7pm and will work Evenings and Weekends
