Research & Development Engineer
Truro - £30,000.00 - £35,000.00 – Day shift – (Monday to Friday) – Career progression – Training
Are you an experienced R&D engineering looking to join a long established design and manufacturing business. The team in the Truro area are responsible for designing, manufacturing and supplying a range of electronic monitoring and control equipment to companies all over the world. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member, with a strong knowledge of electronic design to come and support our Product Development Manager in bringing new, innovative products to market.
We are looking for experienced R&D engineer with a background in both analogue and digital electronic design to join our friendly team.
The successful candidate would work alongside the Product Development Manager on a variety of tasks which could include the following, dependent on experience.
Analogue and digital electronic design
Fault finding and troubleshooting of electronic systems
Embedded and/or applications software programming
PCB layout and generation
Prototype construction including soldering
Compliance testing of existing and new products
Propose plans to improve the efficiency of existing products and develop new products.
Assist other engineers in developing new products and manufacturing processes.

A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
